In 1988, the Jackie Chan Fan Club was established. After a few issues and a screening of
Eastern Condors
at London's Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, the name was changed to
Eastern Heroes
. This change expanded the fanzine beyond Jackie Chan to cover other great Hong Kong action stars of the time.
