The work was prepared with the intention of collaborating with the evolution of the treatment given to defects that occur in flexible pavements by the bodies responsible for Brazilian legislation on the subject. The practical experience of the author, combined with the practical and academic experience of the co-author, resulted in this content. The idea is to broaden discussions and perhaps result in future changes to Brazilian standards.
