During this era of "drill and grill," accelerated stressful learning, overdrive consumer lifestyles, excessive testing and a great decrease of play in the early childhood and elementary education curriculum, playful teaching practices are sorely needed...and playful teaching practices are essential to relationship building and creating "connections" to the learning process, to joy, to success, to self-esteem and to our group members of any age.
