Documentary filmmaker Roy Tighe investigates the rise and fall of Canadian stand-up comedian Richard Lett over the course of seven tumultuous years. In his early years, Lett gained attention for his wit and cutting-edge delivery. However, a struggle with substance abuse ultimately pushed Lett away from his family, leaving the entertainer destitute and homeless. Lett then offers his perspective on addiction and his quest for forgiveness.
