Taking the tests will help you discover what type of thinker you are, and encourage you to learn new cognitive skills. The book also examines all of the issues that surround IQ tests, including what “intelligence quotient” is, and just what the tests attempt to measure. A real test is often made up of three separate groups of tests—verbal, numerical, and visual/spatial—and a combined score is then rated against a national average.
