"Legions" is a novel about the various foreign legions in Napoleon's army. This book tells the tale of Joshua O'Kelly, a young lad hunted by the British for treason in his own country, and escapes Ireland for France. He enlists in the army and wins his way up through the ranks to lieutenant. He is among the first members of the La Légion Irlandaise (The Irish Legion). Follow his exploits and his comrade-in-arms, Edzio Andruszkiewicz, as they live life to the fullest with love, romance, honor and deadly adventures from France to Holland, to Spain, back to Holland and finally back to France.
