Katrina: "One Set of Footprints" is a story that needed to be told. For years, Paulette had pushed this experience to the back of her mind, thinking about it only occasionally. However, as she listens to the stories of others, she realizes that her own story is different. As she sits in her home watching the water rise, she repeatedly asks herself, "Why did I stay?" In her search for answers, she recalls that she wasn't supposed to move to New Orleans until 2006. She reflects on how she ended up in New Orleans during this horrific storm. Ultimately, she realizes that she was exactly where she was meant to be and that every step she took was guided.
