The contemporary educational context of secondary education requires another perspective that confronts and provokes theories, especially from the point of view of images, and also promotes listening to young students. This book analyzes the production of images about secondary education, specifically logos and cartoons, along with others produced and interpreted by a group of students from the Dr. Elpídio de Almeida State School of Secondary and Vocational Education, in the city of Campina Grande/PB. With principles based on Visual Culture Education, the logos are seen as a form of pedagogical, political and official MEC discourse; the cartoons, as a synthesis of a social and critical discourse of society; the images produced and interpreted by the students as another critical variation of the discourses, marked by criticality, inventiveness and resistance. The analysis points to an antagonistic discourse conveyed by images in inter-visual processes.
