The world has gone mad.
The dragons have lifted the edict preventing their dragonkin from crossing into one another's realms and have begun to crush any thoughts of rebellion. In Ascana and Droy Thus, villages are destroyed or occupied. Obristan now suddenly has dragonkin overseeing every aspect of life, while Reclium continues under the heel of Gillbriss as it always has. In Usturg, the Children of Fimbruss march into northern Ascana. Lamorak flees Manse with Prince Calidor, determined to return him safely to Obristan, while Akofi simply wants to return to Droy Thus. Kori finds himself trapped in a town ruled by dragonkin, where he discovers an ability he never knew he had. Nettie and Viktoria escape Reclium, sure that Reyson is right behind. The realms are engulfed in violence and misery. Enemies, both dragonkin and human, are around every corner.
Humanity's only hope lies in if they can find someone- some ally- to help them against the dragons and their dragonkin.
