This book has many of the same historical articles as "The Historical Schipperke"; however, not all, and it contains some not in that book. It focuses on the history of the breed as relates to it being a barge dog. While the materials were assembled by both Craig and Dawn, the book is Craig's assembly of the most important historical documents on the breed.
